Purpose
For over three decades our nursery school has been a place where children, parents and teachers share an environment that encourages growth and learning. Our purpose is to help children experience themselves as acceptable, valued and worthy; and to develop self-confidence in meeting new situations. Parental participation is a very imporant part of our school program.
Staff
Our staff is composed of ten exceptionally qualified teachers, including a teacher-director, who give children small group experiences and supervised play in large areas. Each of our teachers has a B.A. or M.A. degree in education or a related field. Their longevity in the nursery school attests to their dedication.
Schedule
The nursery school operates from September through June, and follows the vacation schedule of the Palo Alto Unified School District.
